Project: ‘Bea’ is a childrens’ lifestyle boutique, with a speciality in dance-wear. It was growing, from a small corner of a parade in a picturesque village, to a larger full shop in Tonbridge. The logo needed to be re-designed, to freshen up and modernise the identity. The font was kept and a digital illustration of a ‘Bee’ was created for the main logo, a representation of the sentimental value of the original image.
The brand needed to be child and parent friendly, as well as providing a strong base for sub-brands, to work clearly with the online store’s target audiences.
Process: After working through the values and meaning of the original brand, one created with love, client and creative worked on a strong brief and moods, and one identity option was presented. After agreement of the main logo and character, sub-brands were created for web and other marketing assets such as targeted print media.
Deliverables: A full re-brand included new logo, with accents taken from the previous identity. A full digital illustration and ‘character’ representing the ‘Bee’ and child focused branding. Full colour palette, with sub-brands built for use on web and in print. Print marketing materials and social media artwork for launch.
