the new blog
Project: Storr Cupboard is the brain child of Ann Storr, a writer and blogger with a passion for tackling the problem of food waste. Born of a need to feed her children on a budget, and of a love of cooking good food, Ann set up the blog to share her knowledge of what to do with common, and not so common leftovers.
Ann wanted to create a brand that represented the quality of her food, and to appeal to a market needing inspiration for their meals. A brand logo, secondary logo, tagline, colour palette and blog have been created. Blog re-launch due Sept ’18.
Process: Exploration of hand drawn kitchen utensils was discussed and two ideas presented, the spoon was a perfect fit to depict a food brand, without having to commit too much to a certain type. The colours were based on Ann’s signature red lipstick, with muted and more natural tones added.
Deliverables: The StorrCupboard brand was built with two logos, one main logo, and a secondary logo for smaller print and digital branding requirements.
A primary colour palette was finalised with a handrawn illustration and full vector files to support the brand creatively going forward. Social Media set up, stationery, and initial marketing materials provided.
